Urban punk, funk and hip-hop from Chuck Treece (Bad Brains, G. Love, Scott Storch, McRad). The sound of the Philly underground on a disk!

GrooveSets include 4 Kidz, All Out, Dark Dog, Fall Off, Kitchen, Move On, Raw Thing, Shoe Gum, Tings A Qwon and Yaw.

sk8PuNKbeAtz and all DrummerPacks require DrumCore or DrumCore LT (version 2 or higher) and a DVD drive.

When 13-year-old Treece discovered the Sex Pistols, Clash, Minor Threat and Philly's Cherry Hill Skate Park—"boards and music" became THE fixation. He formed the punk band, "McRad," with fellow skater Zeke Zagar and made skate rock videos including "Ban This" and "Propaganda." Next was a solo project, remixes (for Sting, Amy Grant, the Goats) and then the drummer's seat for Bad Brains and Urge Overkill. Sessions include work with Billy Joel, King Britt and G. Love as well as collaborations with producer Scott Storch for Jadakis (featuring Mariah Carey and Ricky Martin). Chuck's friend Aaron Fishbein (Scott Storch, Beyonce) helped with these sessions to help ignite the vibe.

This pack combines punk, hip-hop and other styles to forge a cool, new, urban hybrid. These beats are not vanilla, pigeon-holed, studio "pristine" and po-lite grooves. They have as much soul, grit and daring as you'd expect from Philly ... and as you'd expect from Chuck.
