The Sirocco Setup Wizard gets your Wireless Audio Bridge up and running on your current wireless network in 3 easy steps:
- Connect Sirocco to your PC via Ethernet
- Install the software
- Disconnect ethernet and go wireless!
Just insert the CD and follow along, and soon you will be streaming your audio like never before. Connecting your Wireless Audio Bridge to your home music system is also a breeze. Use the included optical digital cable to make a single wire connection from your Sirocco to your AV Receiver for crystal clear digital audio direct from the air to your ears. Or, if you prefer, use an analog connection to get your Sirocco into your home system. Either way, the connection takes minutes, and Sirocco comes with everything you need already in the box. It even includes a short extension for the power supply, because wall warts are a pain too.
You connect the Sirocco to your sound system via the 1/8" connectors (supports 5.1) or the digital optical output. The Sirocco then wirelessly receives music from your PC - it doesn't need to be connected to your PC!
Multi-Channel. Multi-Use.
Anything that your PC can play, Sirocco can receive through the airwaves. Playlists from any music player or from any store, in any format. PCM, WAV, WDM, AAC and all protection schemes are legally and securely streamed from your PC to your home music system. No hassles and no limits. SiroccoTM also supports up to 5.1 channels of audio, with Dolby Digital through a single optical connection, or through the multichannel analog outputs. Stream game audio, DVD movies, DVD-Audio, and any other multi-channel content to Sirocco for playback on your home theatre system.
Switch Without a Hitch
Connect to and disconnect from your Sirocco Wireless Audio Bridge on the fly. Experience PC audio the way it ought to be with Dynamic Audio Switching. Enabling Sirocco's Dynamic Audio Switching means that your audio will seamlessly transition between your Sirocco and any other audio device on your PC without having to shutdown and restart your audio player program. First, enable Dynamic Audio Switching from the Sirocco control panel while connected to your Wireless Audio Bridge. Then when you disconnect from your Sirocco, your audio is instantly transitioned to your local speakers, or whatever other audio device you have selected. Now, whenever you switch back to your Sirocco, your audio stream will switch automatically, with no program shutdowns or restarts. The rest of the audio world should have it this good.
