CME's Duplex Wireless MIDI system offers an easy and convenient way to route MIDI signals between gear, including computers, keyboards and any other MIDI gear you need to connect. Going beyond the capabilities of wireless MIDI keyboards, the WIDI-X8 can transform any MIDI gear into a wireless system capable of reaching up to 80M (line of sight.) Designed for pros, the WIDI-X8 supports up to 64 pairs, making it ideal for situations where you have a lot of MIDI gear and don't want to deal with the hassles of running and testing cables.
The only drawback is the price - with the price of wireless MIDI keyboards, the WIDI-X8 seems a bit on the expensive side. However, the benefits of being able to use wireless MIDI with any MIDI gear or computer may outweigh the cost.
