Piano Ace- HLSPL, is a series of computer-based music lessons and games designed by music educators to help beginning and intermediate piano students succeed. It includes the 36 core lessons and games from Harmonic Vision's award-winning Music Ace family of music education software.

Piano Ace - HLSPL has been specially packaged for use with the Hal Leonard Student Piano Library and includes a Hal Leonard-to-Piano Ace correlation, linking the specific pages in Books 1-5 and All-In-One to the lessons of Piano Ace.

The lessons of Piano Ace are a comprehensive series of lessons and games that teach beginning piano and music students of all ages the basics of music theory, rhythm, pitch, note reading, listening, and the keyboard. No previous musical experience or instrument is required.

Using the included Hal Leonard-to-Piano Ace correlation tables, Hal Leonard piano students can easily locate and access the Piano Ace lessons that best support the page/topic being studied. Used alone or as a complement to the Student Piano Library lesson books, Piano Ace will challenge, engage and motivate piano students, helping them succeed by mastering important music concepts and skills.

Each lesson contains an exciting multi-level game to sharpen music skills and improve retention of important lesson concepts. Colorful animated 3-D graphics, digitized sound effects, bonus points and high scores provide fun, interactive entertainment. Users can select novice or advanced difficulty settings.

To facilitate using Piano Ace with the Hal Leonard Student Piano Library lesson books, correlation tables are provided as part of the Piano Ace documentation and on the back cover of the Piano Ace package. The correlation tables may also be found on the Web at www.harmonicvision.com/pianoace.

Harmonic Vision has developed custom labels for placement in the Hal Leonard Student Piano Library lesson books. These labels cross-reference the specific Piano Ace lessons and games to the associated material in the lesson books.
