Question: What is the difference between a Music Ace Lab Pack and a Network version?
Answer:
| Lab Pack |
Network |
| CD-ROM required: you must
insert a CD-ROM into each computer every time you wish to run the program |
CD-ROM not required: you do
not need to insert a CD-ROM into the computer - it will run from the network |
| Student progress is kept on each computer independently.
As a result, students must log on to the same computer every time, and
you must go to each computer individually to generate progress reports |
Student progress is stored on the server. Students
can work from any computer, and you can print progress reports from the
server, rather than having to go to each machine individually |
