Both the IE-20XB and the IE-30 have a very clever feature - an airplane attenuator/limiter conditions the high sound output of in-flight movie and music channels down to a comfortable listening level. They also offer a solution to my pet peeve - a limiter to spare your ears during loud in-flight announcements.
