Samplitude is one of the most successful solutions for audio and MIDI recording, editing and mastering for PC. The version offers you many innovations based on the Hybrid Audio Engine, and changes have been made consistently to the internal audio effects section. The improved track, object and master automation provides you with different automation modes as well as an automation controller in the track editor. Now you have the possibility to use sidechaining for calculating internal control signals in advanced dynamics, too.
With improved mastering effects, the Cleaning & Restoration Suite for Samplitude Master, overview mode, range handling, MAGIX "am-munition" plug-in for Samplitude Pro, Elastic Audio Easy for Samplitude, Audio quantization, routing manager, symbol bars with skin handling as well as MIDI / VST(i) improvements round off the functionality of the most recent versions. In addition to that, you can continue to count on the performance features of Sampitude - sound neutrality and excellent cutting and editing functions, perfect CD/DVD mastering as well as flexible customization to individual Workflows.
Samplitude 10 contains many innovations and full MIDI implementation for up to 64 tracks. The features include improved track, object and master automation, mastering effects and dynamics, overview mode, range handling and improved time display.
The standard version of Samplitude now includes the pitch editor "Elastic Audio Easy". Also added to Samplitude 10 are mapping modes for hardware controller, routing manager, sidechaining, smart dithering as well as many MIDI and VST features. With the audio quantization wizard you can quickly adjust your multi-track percussion recordings to suit the project grid. As a special extra, Samplitude Pro comes with "Independence LE" - a sampler workstation from yellow tools for realizing, customizing and creating authentic instruments.
Samplitude 10 was created for demanding, professional recording, editing, mixing and mastering at up to 32 Bit/384 kHz. The features include many non-destructive editing tools like the unique object editor which allows fades and diverse manipulation of the audio material in real time.

Virtual Processing
With Samplitude you record material live as you would with multi-track equipment. Or you load existing recordings from a recorder.
No matter what, your audio material becomes a file to be edited using PC software. And because your material is valuable, you want to know how much you can trust this type of software editing.
If you work with Samplitude, your material is much safer than with any tape deck. That's because all editing is virtual, leaving the original recordings unchanged. All crossfades, cuts and effects are calculated in real-time. Even the normalized master can be made non-destructively in Samplitude. Other software requires that you create a new file.
The advantages of this virtual function: maximum security, effective time-saving and absolute freedom. You immediately hear the result of your editing. Each step and each setting can be changed at any time. You are independent of studio peripherals. All you need is a PC.
Seamless Workflow
Multi-track equipment and a mixer are usually used during hardware-supported audio production. To support sound editing, an effects rack is also often connected, as well as perhaps an edit station for arranging and editing the project.
This studio environment is represented completely for the PC by Samplitude, and as such, you don't have to change your working methods. Samplitude offers a virtual multi-track device, a professional edit station, an effects rack and a fully-equipped high-end mixer - all of it as an integrated software solution.
